Nashville Earth Day at Centennial Park: Event Recap
On April 18th, we were thrilled to take part in the Nashville Earth Day celebration at Centennial Park! The park was buzzing with energy as community members gathered to celebrate the outdoors, sustainability, and the incredible natural spaces that make Middle Tennessee so special.

Throughout the day, our team connected with many enthusiastic attendees, sharing stories and information about the Cumberland Trail and the importance of protecting and enjoying our public lands. We were excited to collect new newsletter sign-ups and meet so many people who are passionate about hiking, conservation, and getting involved.

A big highlight of the day was our raffle featuring a sleep pad generously donated by our friends at REI—thank you to REI for supporting our presence at Earth Day and helping us encourage more people to get outside!
We also want to give a special shoutout to trail crew members Aaron and Tyler F., who volunteered their time at the booth. Their firsthand experience and enthusiasm made a huge difference and helped spark great conversations with festival-goers about trail work and stewardship.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth, signed up for the newsletter, entered the raffle, or simply took time to learn more about the Cumberland Trail. Events like this remind us how strong and connected our outdoor community is—we’re already looking forward to the next opportunity to see you out on the trail!
