In 2023, we would love to reach out to tell more folks about the Cumberland Trail and all we do at Cumberland Trails Conference. If you would like to talk more about our organization, feel free to reach out to Savana Keeton by emailing her at savana@cumberlandtrail.org.

We would love to hear from you!
Year in Review

We have accomplished so much this year at Cumberland Trails Conference!

We began constructing the Upper Piney section in January. This section will be used to connect Piney Management Area in Spring City to Laurel-Snow State Natural Area in Dayton. We have built 16,598 feet of trail along Moccasin Creek and Piney Creek. This includes placing close to 2,000 stone steps and pavers!

The CTC hosted Alternative Spring Break in March 2022 where Michigan State University and the University of Central Florida joined us to build the trail. They volunteered 504 hours over their spring break.

We also hosted 11 volunteer events throughout 2022 and we look forward to continuing with these events in 2023. Our volunteer hours through these events totaled 1,393 hours.

What a great year we have had and we cannot wait to see what 2023 has in store for us!

Thank you to every volunteer in 2022!

As 2022 comes to a close, we reflect back on all of our fantastic volunteers. We are so humbled and grateful that you took the time out of your life to help us build this incredible trail. Without our volunteers and donors, the Cumberland Trail would not exist in the way it does today. We look forward to the new year and creating many more memories with our volunteers and financial supporters. Please keep an eye out on our social media accounts and website for volunteer opportunities!

We have logged 1,897 volunteer hours for 2022 and we hope to see that number even greater for our 2023 year. Thank you all so much for an outstanding year on the Cumberland Trail!
Cumberland Trails Conference would like to thank the Tennessee Trails Association for its financial support through the Evan Means Grant. This grant was used to purchase tools for our volunteer events for 2022. Here is a link to the TTA website if you would like to know more about the organization.
